This buffalo hide is a garment weight. That means it's about the same thickness as my regular cowhide (a bit more than a dime, maybe) It's strong and thuddy. The two shades of blue moose are in the center. They add a bit of thud. Gorgeous and effective. Yummy in many ways, On a scale of 1 to 10 (Velvety Soft to Very Heavy Thud) this would be a 5 with very little sting.
